The encounter between terrorists and a joint force comprising the Army and J-K Police in the Bajimaal area of Dharmsal, Rajouri district, has entered its second day on Thursday.

Among the four army officials involved, two hold officer ranks, while the remaining two are jawans.
Sources reveal that Special Forces, alongside regular troops, are strategically placed in the area following intelligence indicating the movement of a terrorist group.
“16 Corps Commander and Rashtriya Rifles’ Romeo Force commander are closely monitoring the ongoing operations,” stated sources.
Joint operations were initiated in the Kalakote Area, Gulabgarh Forest, and Rajouri District based on specific intelligence.
“The terrorists have been injured and surrounded, and operations are in progress,” reported the Indian Army’s White Knight Corps on the anti-terror operation in Kalakote, Rajouri, J&K.
Contact was established on November 22, leading to an intense firefight. The ongoing operations involve acts of valor and sacrifice by Indian Army personnel, striving to prevent collateral damage to women and children, in line with the highest traditions of the Indian Army, as stated by the White Knight Corps.–(ANI)
