Security Forces Apprehend Two with War-Like Stores in South Kashmir

In a significant development, security forces in the Zablipora area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag District apprehended two individuals and recovered “war-like” stores from their possession, according to a statement from the Chinar Corps on Tuesday.

Based on intelligence inputs, a Joint Mobile Vehicle Check Post (MVCP) was established on December 11, 2023, by the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police at Zablipora, Bijbehara area of Anantnag. The operation resulted in the successful apprehension of two suspected individuals with the recovery of 01 Pistol and war-like stores.

The Chinar Corps, in a post on ‘X,’ reported this development and emphasized that an investigation has been initiated following the arrest of the individuals. The security forces continue to remain vigilant in their efforts to ensure the safety and security of the region.
