In a mega development, the foundation day of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG), weeklong activities under “Audit Week” celebrations begin with Audit Marathon on the shores of the world-renowned Dal Lakh on Sunday, 19 November, 2023..
As a matter of fact on the first day, Pramod Kumar Pr. Accountant General kicked off the marathon, while Inabat Khaliq Dy. Accountant General, activist Manzoor Wangnoo, and prominent footballer Ishfaq Ahmed were amongst those present on the glorious occasion.
A special cleanliness drive was also held at the Dal Lake where Ghazala Abdullah, DFO, Srinagar along with her colleagues explained the initiatives taken by the department to clean the Dal Lake. The drive was conducted in collaboration with J&K Lake Conservation & Management Authority (LCMA).
In this regard, array of activities are planned throughout this week till 25th November.
On the second day Monday 20 November, 2023 blood donation camp was organised attended by Dr. Masood Tanvir, Principal GMC, Srinagar, and Dr. Muzaffar Hussain Sherwani, Medical Superintendent LD Hospital.
A number of donors which consisted of employees from AG office Srinagar participated in the blood donation camp , with more than 78 participants employees of the AG office registering and more than 70 precious blood points collected.
While talking to this journalist, Principal Accountant General Pramod Kumar affirmed the resolve that AG office Kashmir is committed to the welfare of employees and masses, and they are always determined to contribute to social causes.
Masses of Jammu and Kashmir are appreciating the diverse activities conducted under the Audit Week by AG office Srinagar.
