Hajin: The district administration has ensured all necessary arrangements for families affected by structural damage to their homes, who have been temporarily shifted to Government Girls’ School, Hajin.
Following reports of cracks developing in their houses, the affected families were relocated as a precautionary measure. On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, heating systems and an uninterrupted power supply were provided at the temporary shelter to ensure that the displaced residents do not face any hardships.
Expressing their gratitude, the affected families thanked Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Tehsildar Hajin, and Civil Society Chairman Mir Bashir Ahmad for their prompt action and support. Local residents have also appreciated the administration’s swift response in addressing the crisis.
Meanwhile, water and electricity supply in Hajin has been restored after remaining disrupted for five days in the area following the road collapse in Sheikh Mohalla, Hajin.
