BJP OBC Morcha Organizes Social Gathering in R.S. Pura, Highlights Modi Government’s Welfare Initiatives

BuzzBytes R.S. Pura, 04 Mar: The Bharatiya Janata Party’s Other Backward Classes (OBC) Morcha organized a Samajik Sammelan (Social Gathering) in R.S. Pura, featuring key party leaders who highlighted the dedicated efforts of the Modi Government towards justice and welfare in the Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory (UT).Prominent figures such as Sunil Prajapati (President BJP OBC Morcha), Ashok Verma (Secretary OBC Morcha), Onkar Singh (Spokesperson OBC Morcha), Vikram Sandhu (Mandal President), Krishan Sabharwal (President Vishwakarma Sabha R.S. Pura), and Ram Pal (District President OBC Morcha Jammu South) were present at the event, which was organized by Tarsem Lal (Mandal President OBC Morcha R.S. Pura).Sunil Prajapati, the State President of BJP OBC Morcha, highlighted the Modi Government’s initiatives under schemes like Kaushal Vikas Yojana, extensive road development projects, and the launch of various welfare programs such as Ayushman Bharat, Arogya Yojna, and Kishan Samman Nidhi Yojna for the people of J&K UT.He emphasized the government’s commitment to the welfare of women, citing examples like Jan Dhan Yojana, Beti Bachao and Beti Padhao, Ladli Beti, and Ujjwala Yojana. Prajapati encouraged party workers to disseminate information about government welfare schemes across society.Prajapati also credited the Modi government for granting domicile rights to West Pakistani Refugees (WPRs) after seven decades, accusing previous governments of neglecting their constitutional rights. He praised the Modi government for passing the J&K Reservation (Amendment) Bill 2023, providing reservation to OBCs, and extending it to panchayat and municipal elections.He criticized previous governments for exploiting sentiments and hindering OBC reservation under Article 370 and 35A, while highlighting Modi’s efforts to foster unity among people of different religious backgrounds in J&K UT.Prajapati extended gratitude to the Hon’ble Prime Minister and the Union Govt for implementing OBC reservation in J&K UT, aligning with the spirit of “Sab Ka Saath, Sab ka Viswas, and Sab ka Vikas.” The event was attended by a large audience, including women and West Pakistani Refugees from adjoining areas.Notable attendees included Vice President Surinder Kumar, General Secretary Rakesh Kumar Thackeray, Vice President Sanjeev Kumar, Krishan Lal, Rajesh Kumar, Darshan Kumar, Janak Raj (General Secretary), Anil Kumar, Rahul Bagal (Secretary), Ravi Kumar, Pawan Kumar, Karan Kumar, and Sankar Chowdhury
