One of the pressing concerns addressed during the meeting was the need for Prabhari Officers to be well-informed about government schemes. In response, Chief Secretary Mehta called upon the General Administration Department, Divisional Commissioners, and Deputy Commissioners to conduct orientation programs for the visiting officers. These programs will aim to acquaint the officers with the 137 actionable deliverables currently under review as part of the B2V5 program.

Furthermore, Dr. Mehta issued a directive to all line departments, stressing the importance of active participation of field personnel in Panchayat-level reviews of their respective schemes. These field personnel have been tasked with providing support and coordination to ensure the swift resolution of any issues that may arise during B2V5 meetings.

As part of the B2V5 program, district administrations have been entrusted with the responsibility of establishing B2V control rooms within their respective districts. These control rooms will serve as centralized hubs for coordinating activities and offering assistance to visiting officers. Moreover, they will play a pivotal role in promptly escalating any issues or demands to the appropriate authorities for swift resolution.

The Chief Secretary emphasized the necessity for increased collaboration among all stakeholders, including Prabhari officers, Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs), divisional and district administrations, and various line departments. This collective effort is geared toward ensuring the success of the fifth phase of the Back to Village program and building upon the accomplishments of its predecessors.

Dr. Mehta reiterated the focus areas under B2V5, which encompass crucial government initiatives like the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), Mission Youth, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Amrit Sarovar, Swachh Bharat Mission, self-employment schemes, PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM Ujjwala Yojana, PM Vishwakarma, PM Kisan Saman, Kisan Credit Card, PM PRANAM, Nasha Mukt J&K, and various e-initiatives such as Janbhagidari. Additionally, services like quality school education and free healthcare through golden cards were also underscored.

The Government of Jammu & Kashmir is leaving no stone unturned in its commitment to ensuring the success of the B2V5 program, and these recent measures signal a determined effort to maximize its impact.
