The night temperatures in Kashmir continue to drop, with Gulmarg, renowned for its ski-resort charm, experiencing the coldest night at minus 6.0 degrees Celsius.
According to concerned department , sub-zero temperatures were recorded across various stations. Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, shivered at minus 0.5 degrees Celsius. Qazigund, the gateway to Kashmir, reported a low of minus 0.0 degrees Celsius.

Tourist Spots Affected:
Pahalgam, a popular tourist destination, witnessed a low of minus 1.5 degrees Celsius. In Kupwara, the mercury settled at 1.1 degrees Celsius, while in Kokernag, a minimum temperature of minus 0.8 degrees Celsius was recorded.
The improved yet chilly night temperatures across the region mark the onset of winter, affecting both urban centers and picturesque tourist spots. The sub-zero readings highlight the need for residents and visitors alike to brace for the winter chill in the Kashmir Valley.
