Hajin: Child Rights and You (CRY) in collaboration with the Jammu & Kashmir Association of Social Workers (JKASW) distributed educational assistance to four government middle schools in the Hajin education zone.
The initiative was flagged off by the Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Hajin in the presence of teachers, students, and community representatives.
The beneficiary institutions — GMS Khuserpora, GMS Bathipora, GMS Gulabwari, and GMS Kaniyari — were identified as the most affected by the recent floods and are part of the School Transformation Project supported by CRY.
Educational kits and learning materials were handed over to the respective Heads of Institutions (HOIs) to ensure transparency and accountability.
Commending the initiative, the ZEO Hajin lauded CRY and JKASW for their sustained efforts to strengthen the education system in flood-hit areas and to ensure quality education for every child.
