Danish Mirza KULGAM, JANUARY 20: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan, chaired a detailed meeting at the mini-secretariat to review the progress of developmental works in the district under the R&B sector. The DC instructed concerned officers to expedite the pace of work and ensure the time-bound completion of all projects.The meeting included a comprehensive review of physical and financial targets related to infrastructure development and upgradation works under District Capex, NABARD, languishing, PMDP, IMDP, etc. A PowerPoint presentation by Superintending Engineer and Executive Engineers provided an overview of the current status of all ongoing developmental works.Newly approved projects such as Chiranbal road, Galman Nandimarg road, Kawaki Bazar Bridge, and others were also discussed, with the DC emphasizing the need for swift progress. The status of SDH Qaimoo was reviewed, and the concerned were instructed to complete pending work by the end of March.Additionally, the meeting addressed projects in the education and health sectors, Urban Local Bodies, and other departments. The status of Transit Accommodations in Chowgam and Mirhama was reviewed, with a directive to accelerate the pace of work and ensure early completion.The DC highlighted that the officers should adhere to the deadlines for each project, ensuring timely completion for the benefit of the public. Emphasizing a vision for development and the welfare of the people, he urged officers to dedicate all projects to the public within the stipulated time frame and maintain strict adherence to quality standards.
