Deputy Commissioner Ramban Leads Educational and Civic Empowerment at Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra – Urban

 Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, took the helm of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra – Urban, transforming Government Model Higher Secondary School in Ramban into a vibrant hub of awareness and civic engagement for the day.

The mega event, under the guidance of DC Ramban, witnessed a fervent Pledge ceremony where participants committed to the collective endeavor of making Ramban and the nation self-sufficient and self-reliant. With a focus on the saturation of centrally sponsored schemes, District Ramban radiated a festive aura under the dedicated stewardship of Deputy Commissioner Chaudhary.

Addressing the gathering, DC Ramban underscored the imperative of prioritizing quality education for the youth, urging citizens to channel their efforts towards the educational upliftment of their wards. The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra – Urban unfolded its array of services and benefits, showcasing the government’s commitment to the populace.

A multitude of citizens joined the yatra in Ramban, specifically focusing on achieving the saturation of flagship government schemes. Deputy Commissioner Chaudhary, accompanied by dignitaries, meticulously inspected stalls representing various departments, including Poshan (ICDS) Horticulture, Labour and Employment, Jal Shakti, and more.

Recognizing education as a linchpin in societal transformation, DC Ramban encouraged locals to concentrate on providing quality education to their children. Stressing the role of education in realizing life goals, he urged the installation of pictures of successful alumni in schools to motivate current students.

Cultural programs, a Kabaddi match, and a boxing match added a spirited dimension to the event, showcasing the diverse talents of the region. DC Ramban distributed keys and checks to beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana(Urban) and facilitated the distribution of gas connections under Ujjwala Yojana.

The Health Department organized a Multi-specialty health camp, providing essential health services to locals. In collaboration with Poshan (ICDS), anemia checkups of women and children were also done. DC Ramban, in acknowledgment of outstanding contributions, distributed certificates of appreciation to teachers and students actively participating in the program.

The day concluded with a Viksit Bharat Sankalp pledge, symbolizing a collective commitment to making India a developed and self-reliant nation by the year 2047. Deputy Commissioner Ramban was honored with a Momento of Honour by the CEO MC Ramban, marking the successful execution of this transformative event.

Officials, including ADC Harbans Lal, GM DIC Ravinder Anand, CEO Dev Anand, and others, contributed to the seamless orchestration of this impactful initiative. District Nodal Officer I&B, Khursheed Yousuf, and representatives from various departments added their presence to the day-long event, reinforcing the collaborative spirit of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra – Urban.
