Srinagar 2nd Feb:The Directorate of Health Services Kashmir (DHSK) has taken a resolute stand against the unethical practices of agents associated with private testing labs. These agents have been reportedly coercing patients to undergo medical tests outside of government hospitals. In response, DHSK has issued a circular urging Chief Medical Officers and Medical Superintendents of government hospitals to actively discourage such practices. The circular emphasizes the need for law enforcement support in curbing these unethical behaviors. Additionally, DHSK proposes the implementation of a monitoring system to swiftly address patient complaints and inform the relevant directorate. This initiative underscores the commitment to maintaining the integrity and quality of healthcare services provided by government facilities in Kashmir.
