As December 31, 2025 comes to an end, we take a quiet moment to look back at a year that challenged people across the world. Wars, political uncertainty, extreme weather, and fast-changing technology made life uneasy for many. Still, even in difficult times, there were moments of hope—peace efforts, new discoveries, and simple acts of kindness that showed the strength of the human spirit.
Closer to home, this newspaper continued its journey with honesty and commitment. The year was not easy. We faced financial pressure, rapid changes in the media world, and the constant responsibility of sharing truthful news in an age full of rumors and misinformation. Through it all, we stood firm.
We thank everyone who supported us along the way. Our readers trusted us for clear and reliable information. Our staff worked day and night to bring stories to the public. Our well-wishers and friends helped us in many ways—big and small—when it mattered the most.
Because of this collective support, we were able to grow to 12 pages this year. This achievement belongs to all of you. Those who helped financially, those who shared news, ideas, and encouragement—each contribution strengthened us. We are deeply grateful.
As we say goodbye to 2025, we look ahead with hope. In 2026, we aim to reach more readers, strengthen our digital presence, and connect with wider sections of society. We will try to listen more, include more voices, and encourage healthy discussion.
Most importantly, we renew our promise to practice free and fearless journalism. We will continue to speak the truth, ask hard questions, and report responsibly—without pressure or prejudice.
To our readers, contributors, advertisers, and supporters: Happy New Year. May 2026 bring peace, stability, and fresh hope for all. Together, let us move forward with purpose and positivity.
