*Ramban//15Dec2023:* As part of the ongoing efforts under the PM SHRI initiative, students from Government High School, Perhinder, undertook an exposure-cum-industrial tour to Government Polytechnic Ramban, guided by Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary.
A total of 120 students, both girls and boys, accompanied by 7 staff members, explored Government Polytechnic Chanderkote, Ramban, as part of this educational initiative.
Er. Aabid Hussain, the demonstrator, welcomed the students and provided insights into the polytechnic sector, encouraging them to pursue skill-based education. The Head of the Department at Government Polytechnic Ramban, Er. Pawan Kumar, elaborated on the benefits of skill education through polytechnic institutions across various streams, motivating students to consider this path for their future careers.
The students had the opportunity to visit labs and witness live demonstrations of different machines within the institution. They actively explored the infrastructure, posing questions and engaging with the various instruments.
The faculty from Government High School expressed gratitude to the staff and Principal of Polytechnic, Chanderkote, Er. Vivek Mahajan, for facilitating this educational and exposure tour, providing valuable insights for the students’ career paths.
