In a proactive initiative, Handwara Police orchestrated an awareness rally in Kralgund to combat drug abuse. Attended by SHO Kralgund, Executive Magistrate Kralgund, health officials, and students from Green Peace Secondary School, the rally, flagged off by SHO IFTIQAR AHMAD, traversed through Tehsil Qaziabad before concluding in Bicherwara. The primary goal was to disseminate knowledge about the detrimental effects of drug abuse. SHO Kralgund urged the public to collaborate with the police in the fight against substance abuse, emphasizing the collective responsibility to eradicate this societal menace. Participants displayed banners and placards, conveying messages against drug abuse, raised anti-drug slogans, and pledged to contribute to the elimination of this pressing issue.
