As reported by the news agency Kashmir buzzbytes the discussions revolved around crafting robust security arrangements along the President’s designated route and at event venues. Key areas of focus included manpower deployment, coordination, and intelligence sharing.

Director General Dilbag Singh stressed the necessity of seamless synergy among the various agencies to guarantee a safe and successful visit. He underlined the importance of comprehensive briefings, enhanced patrolling, and heightened vigilance against potential threats.

Furthermore, Singh highlighted the optimization of available resources, the integration of advanced technology, and the establishment of efficient communication channels to ensure both security and minimal disruption for the region’s commuters.

The President of India, Droupadi Murmu, is slated to visit Kashmir University on October 11, where she will preside as the chief guest for the institution’s 20th annual convocation. Sources indicate that over 53,000 candidates from various academic disciplines will receive degrees during this event.

Kashmir Scroll sources also revealed that during her visit, President Murmu will address the assembly of graduates and dignitaries at the convocation complex of the University of Kashmir, Hazatbal Srinagar, adding an extra layer of significance to this prestigious occasion.
