Ulfat, pursuing her BA Eng (Hons) at Govt College for Women Gandhinagar Jammu, not only led the parade but was also honored with the Best Commander Trophy for her exceptional performance.Ulfat Khan, born in Uri, Baramulla District, overcame geographical barriers and challenges to stand out among 2,274 NCC cadets from across the country. Her journey from a remote background to a national achiever exemplifies determination and resilience. Having attended various Kendriya Vidyalayas and excelled in NCC camps, including NSC, SNIC, RDC, Mini Sailing, and CATC, Ulfat’s leadership abilities shone during the Republic Day Camp.Her outstanding performance at the camp earned her the prestigious Best Commander title and the DG Commendation Medal Certificate.
