Total Caseload Reaches 4.50 Crore; Recovery Rate at 98.81%, Vaccination Surpasses 220.67 Crore Doses
In the latest update from the Union health ministry, India recorded 335 new COVID-19 infections, pushing the total caseload to 4.50 crore. The number of active cases has risen to 1,701, while the national recovery rate stands impressively high at 98.81%. The death toll has reached 5,33,316, with a case fatality rate of 1.19%. Notably, the country has administered a remarkable 220.67 crore doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, marking a significant stride in the vaccination campaign.
