In a firm declaration, Inspector General DK Boora of the Border Security Force (BSF) in Jammu asserted that those with nefarious intentions would find it impossible to set foot on Indian soil. This statement came as part of an exclusive interview with Buzzbytes on December 5th, highlighting the unwavering commitment of the BSF to safeguard the nation’s borders.

Commending the border population for their active role in maintaining security, Boora stated, “There must be someone to receive it, and I want to congratulate the border population that they do not indulge themselves in work like this.” This acknowledgment reflects the collaboration between the BSF and local communities in ensuring the integrity of the borders.
Further shedding light on the operational strategies employed by the BSF, IG Boora emphasized the organization’s adaptability to various weather conditions. “BSF makes the strategy for every weather, we have different strategies for rainy season, different for summer season, foggy season, snowfall season. Our strategy is reviewed every 2-3 months, based on which we move forward,” he added.
The commitment to maintaining border peace was reiterated with the decision to recommit to the 2003 ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan. This decision emerged from a crucial meeting between the Directors General of Military Operations (DGMOs) of India and Pakistan on February 24-25, 2021, signifying diplomatic efforts to ensure regional stability.
