MCA Department Lifts the Trophy
Delina Baramulla. In a sensational contest for Blazing Horizons Inter-Department Volley Ball tournament organized by the Sports Committee of the North Campus of the Kashmir University, the MCA Department defeated the IMBA department. Students, teaching and non-teaching staff of the Campus enjoyed the thriller final and appreciated the sportsmanship spirit of both the teams.
In the presentation ceremony of the final, in-charge Director of the Campus, Dr.Khurshid Ahmad Qazi, praised the dedication and perseverance of all the players and encouraged them to keep it up “ for better and higher avenues in life.” He said, “through sports and competitions like these, we, in educational institutions build strong men and women by infusing the spirit of hard work, dedication, discipline and dynamism in them.”
Convener Sports congratulated the winning team and asked the students present on the occasion to be ready for a mega knock out cricket tournament at the Campus.
Among faculty members and officials present on the occasion included Dr.Ambreen Wani, Dr.Bilal Ahmad Mir, Dr.Umar Faruq and Dr.Wasim A Bhat.
Dr. Ambreen Wani conducted the proceedings of the presentation ceremony and also presented vote of thanks.
