J&K EJAC Bandipora Extends Heartfelt Farewell to ZEO Hajin

Hajin: In a touching ceremony held at the Town Hall Hajin on Saturday, the Jammu & Kashmir Employees Joint Action Committee Bandipora bid a warm farewell to Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Hajin, Abdul Rahim Lone, on the occasion of his retirement after an illustrious career spanning 34 years.The event witnessed the presence of distinguished guests, including Chief Education Officer Bandipora, Dr G M Puju, ZEO Dangerpora Sopore, Mohammad Akbar Wani, Spokesperson J&K EJAC/JKTF, Mir Bashir Ahmad, Chairman JKRET Forum, Khalid Rafeeq Bhat, Senior Lecturer and Educationist, President Halqai Adab Sonawari, Shakir Shafi, and other prominent figures from the education sector.Chief Education Officer Dr G.M Puju, serving as the chief guest, emphasized the significance of the New Education Policy 2020 and underscored the pivotal role teachers play in its implementation. Puju urged the teaching community to make 2024 a year dedicated to achieving excellence in the delivery of quality education in schools.Throughout the ceremony, speakers commended Abdul Rahim Lone,Farooq Ahmad, Headmaster GHS Hajin and Mohammad Yousuf Headmaster MS Eidgahpora Madwan’s unwavering dedication to their duties and extended warm wishes for a happy and healthy post-retirement life. The retiring officers received praise for their services, with specific acknowledgment of their contributions to various schools and the community.Mir Bashir Ahmad shed light on ZEO Abdul Rahim Lone’s and other officers life, praising their professionalism, diligence, commitment, and exemplary devotion. Khalid Rafeeq Bhat, Chairman JKRET Forum, acknowledged Abdul Rahim’s and other officers hard work for the betterment of the Zone, expressing gratitude for his dedicated service and wishing him a peaceful future.In his farewell address, Abdul Rahim Lone shared insights from his extensive service and encouraged the teaching fraternity to maintain a positive outlook and continue working tirelessly for the welfare of students.As a token of love and respect, members of JKTF presented a bouquet, memento, and a shawl to ZEO Abdul Rahim Lone. The retiring officer has served under various capacities in the Education Department and will officially retire from Government service as ZEO on March 31, 2024, marking the culmination of a distinguished career spanning over three decades.
