Srinagar, Dec 31: In a strategic move, the Jammu and Kashmir Police have launched a comprehensive rewards program, enticing citizens with cash rewards up to Rs 12.50 lakh for valuable information on trans-border tunnels, drones, narcotics, terror activities, and terrorists. The police have allocated a substantial Rs 5 lakh reward for those providing information about trans-border tunnels used by anti-national elements. Additionally, a Rs 3 lakh reward is in place for individuals reporting sightings of drones from across the border, along with details about the recipients of such drones.

In an effort to recognize and incentivize successful counter-terrorism operations, the police have structured a rewards system ranging from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 12.50 lakh.
