Srinagar, October 9 (buzzbytes): The Jammu and Kashmir High Court has rejected a complaint against three senior lawyers from Kashmir, who were accused of causing disturbance and engaging in activities detrimental to national interests, as per sources.
The lawsuit was initiated against Nazir Ahmad Ronga, Ghulam Nabi Shaheen, and Mian Abdul Qayoom. The complaint was filed by Law Secretary Achal Sethi and underwent hearings over approximately a year.
In December 2022, the three advocates were summoned to appear before the Disciplinary Committee at the Jammu and Kashmir High Court.
In a judgment issued on October 7th, Justices Sanjeev Shukla, Sanjay Dhar, and Mohammad Akram Chowdhary dismissed the case, rejecting all allegations against the three lawyers.
