Srinagar January 7, 2025: Prominent social activist and political leader Khawaja Ubaid has warmly welcomed the creation of a new railway division in Jammu, hailing it as a significant step toward fostering progress and development in the region.
Expressing his gratitude to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Khawaja Ubaid acknowledged this initiative as a major stride in enhancing connectivity from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. He emphasized that this move will not only reduce physical distances but also bridge emotional gaps, stating, “This initiative will not only shorten distances but will also help eliminate the ‘Dil ki Duryan’ (emotional distances) between people across the country.”
Khawaja Ubaid reiterated his belief that this development will open new avenues for the socio-economic growth of Jammu & Kashmir, bringing the region closer to the rest of the nation and enhancing the ease of travel for citizens.
