Buzzbytes,Srinagar, Dec 24: – The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, expressed profound grief and offered his heartfelt condolences to the family of retired Superintendent of Police (SP), Mohammad Shafi Mir. Mir was tragically killed by terrorists in Baramulla district’s Gantamulla Bala area earlier today.
Retired SP Mohammad Shafi Mir was fatally shot while offering prayers at a local mosque on Sunday morning. Hailing from Gantamulla Bala, Mir had served the region in his capacity as a police officer before his retirement.
In a firm statement, Lt Governor Manoj Sinha voiced his deep anguish over the cowardly act, stating, “I am deeply pained by the reprehensible terrorist attack on retired police officer Mohammad Shafi Mir.
