Jammu, February 06:In a significant stride towards expanding the educational landscape in the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory, Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha laid the foundation stone for a new campus of Cluster University, Jammu. The ceremony marked a pivotal moment for the associated colleges and the academic community.Addressing the gathering, LG Sinha extended heartfelt congratulations to the Vice Chancellor, Heads of Departments, faculty members, and students affiliated with Cluster University. The Lt Governor extended best wishes for Prof Bechan Lal’s future endeavors, emphasizing the importance of his leadership in the university’s progress.The event, held at Raj Bhawan, saw the presence of Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary Higher Education, Ramesh Kumar, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, along with senior officials, principals of associated colleges, heads of departments, and faculty members of Cluster University of Jammu. The new campus is expected to contribute significantly to the educational infrastructure and opportunities available in the region.
