Jammu, January 19:In anticipation of Republic Day, the Ministry of Home Affairs has released a directive to states and Union territories, urging them to guarantee that paper flags used by the public during significant national, cultural, and sports events are not casually discarded or thrown on the ground afterward. Instead, individuals are encouraged to dispose of these flags privately, in a manner consistent with the flag’s dignity, as outlined by the MHA.
