In a strategic move to boost industrial development, Divisional Commissioner (Div Com) Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, convened a meeting to address issues related to Industrial Estates (IDC) in Kashmir. The meeting focused on district-wise challenges flagged by concerned officers regarding land acquisition by District Industries Centres (DICs). Div Com directed officials to submit indents for approach roads, initiate land acquisition processes promptly, and ensure cooperation between DCs and the Industries Department. Stressing the importance of resolving pending land issues, the Div Com set a week’s deadline for the concerned authorities to streamline the land transfer processes for DICs.
