In a pivotal meeting held at the SMC headquarters, Commissioner Athar Aamir Khan spearheaded a meticulous review and preparedness session for the upcoming Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra campaign. Present at the meeting were Joint Commissioner, Chief Planning Officer Srinagar, Secretary SMC, Chief Transport Officer, Nodal Officer SMC, Informatics Officer, Zonal Sanitation Officers, all Ward Officers of SMC, Day Nodal Officers, and GIS Expert.
The Viksit Bharat Yatra aims to extend its reach to vulnerable sections eligible under various welfare schemes, disseminate crucial information, and enhance awareness about ongoing schemes.
Commissioner Athar Aamir Khan, during the review, stressed the paramount importance of coordination among officers at various levels.
