Expressing deep concern over the current power scenario in the valley, particularly in Anantnag, senior socio-political leader Shah criticized the continued unscheduled power curtailments, deliberately victimizing the public during the harsh winter. Shah, addressing public interactions in Dawood Chek Anzulla and Shirpora Bala, highlighted the discrepancy between the substantial power tariffs imposed on the public and the meager quantity of supply, adversely affecting students preparing for exams. He also lambasted the PHE department for delayed and insufficient drinking water supply in various areas, urging the district administration to be prepared for any atmospheric changes and ensure efficient medical assistance in Anantnag district hospital. Shah emphasized the need for the immediate shift of the maternity hospital from its congested and dilapidated condition to Janglathmandi hospital building. He was accompanied by Youth President Fayaz Ah Tarray, Ward President Shirpora M Yaqoob Khan, Peer Imtiyaz Ah, M Ramzan Sheikh, Fayaz Ah Sheikh, Wasim Ah Rather, and others.
