Peerzada Shariq Shopian, November 28- The Sqay Martial Arts Championship Tournament organized by CRPF 14th Battalion reached its conclusion today at the district police lines in Shopian. The event witnessed a remarkable display of skill and determination from martial artists across the battalion.

DIG CRPF Mr. Alok Awasthy and Commandant 178 bn Mr. Surjit Kumar Attari graced the occasion as Chief Guests. The tournament, marked by intense competition and dedication, celebrated the martial prowess of the participants and served as a platform to foster camaraderie among battalion members.

DIG CRPF commended the participants for their commitment to physical fitness and the preservation of cultural heritage through Sqay. The event’s significance extended beyond martial skills, emphasizing the importance of camaraderie and esprit de corps within the battalion.

This event was organized in memory of Shaheed Mukhtar Ahmad Doie, who tragically lost his life in March 2022 at his residence in Check Chotipora, a poignant tribute to his memory and sacrifice.
