Following allegations of fraud against Aptech services, the previously held contract will now be transferred to Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), as confirmed by LG Manoj Sinha in an interview with a digital news outlet.

The transition to TCS as the exam-conducting agency is slated to begin in September 2023.

The decision comes after several months of protests by JKSSB candidates who raised concerns about the conduct of exams by Aptech, the former agency appointed by the Jammu and Kashmir administration to fill governmental vacancies.

The decision to replace Aptech was driven by apprehensions regarding network security, brought to light by law enforcement and technical experts during the initial stages of the examination process.

These concerns resulted in the cancellation of exams, including those for Sub Inspector and Junior Assistant positions, by the High Court in December 2022 due to allegations of paper leaks and fraudulent activities.

The transition to TCS aims to establish a more secure and equitable examination process for JKSSB candidates. (BuzzBytes).
