The J&K Teachers Forum Bandipora organized a felicitation event at the Zonal Education Officer Sumbal to honor and welcome the recently appointed Deputy Chief Education Officer (Dy.CEO) Bandipora, Dr. GM Puju. The event, held on Tuesday, gathered esteemed members of the teaching community.
Mir Bashir Ahmad, Chief Spokesperson of JKTF, extended heartfelt congratulations to Dr. GM Puju on his new role and warmly welcomed him to his new assignment. Emphasizing the vital role of teachers in nation-building, Mir Bashir Ahmad highlighted their ability to shape leaders and contribute to the development of a healthy society, both locally and globally.
During the event, Mir Bashir Ahmad conveyed the high expectations the teacher community holds for Dr. GM Puju, anticipating that he will prioritize addressing their genuine concerns. He assured the teachers that the leadership is committed to eradicating corruption and favoritism, advocating for transparency in all aspects.
Addressing the gathering, Mir Bashir Ahmad urged all teachers to harness their abilities to contribute to a brighter future for society. He called upon the authorities to consider merit while conferring awards and recognitions to teachers. Dr. Puju, in response, assured the leadership that he would make all efforts to address developmental gaps in all zones of the district and sought the forum’s cooperation to achieve this goal.
