In life, there are three things that are permanent: pain, loneliness, and death.
First, let us talk about pain from a psychological point of view. According to me, pain is an unavoidable part of life. Most people fear pain, but I believe we should feel it instead. Pain should be scared of you, not the other way around. Accept pain rather than trying to escape or fight it, because acceptance makes you stronger.
The second permanent thing is loneliness. In simple words, loneliness means being alone, but I see loneliness as a power. When you are alone, it is the best time to understand yourself deeply and work on becoming the best version of yourself.
Now the question arises: how can we become the best version of ourselves in loneliness or silence?
My answer is simple. When you are alone, stay calm and sit quietly. Think about situations that may happen in the future. Do not compare yourself with others. You can overcome loneliness not by making friends, but by talking to yourself. Even when you are in a room full of people, observe everything quietly. While everyone is shouting or talking, silence can teach you more than noise.
The last permanent thing in life is death. In simple words, death is the end of physical life. But in Islam, death is not the end. Life is like a book in which everything is written—your good deeds and your sins. After death, this book will be opened, and the Lord will reward you for your good actions and punish you for your sins.
Now the question is: what will you choose—reward or punishment?
Of course, reward. To achieve that, discipline is necessary. Death cannot be avoided; it will come one day. Life is an examination, and it is in your hands whether you want to pass by preparing well or fail by ignoring it. Prepare yourself now so that after death, you may attain a better life—but remember, discipline is the key.
