Srinagar, Aug 13 (BuzzBytes): The resounding success of the Tiranga Rally in Srinagar has not only displayed the massive participation of Kashmiris but also answered skeptics who once doubted the raising of the Tri-color after the revocation of Article 370.Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha led the vibrant Tiranga Rally from Botanical Garden, affirming the deep-seated patriotism among Kashmiris. “Today, the Tri-color flies proudly in every hand, reflecting the aspirations of every Kashmiri. The extensive participation in this rally is a clear rebuttal to those who once questioned our attachment to the Tri-color,” stated the LG, accompanied by Chief Secretary AK Mehta.Speaking with the press, the LG expressed pride in witnessing not only officials from the administration and the police but also a significant number of Srinagar residents joining the rally. Asked about the transformation, he emphasized that people have embraced their responsibility to participate and honor the Tri-color.Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbagh Singh echoed the sentiment, hailing the substantial local involvement in the Tiranga yatra as a heartening development. Responding to inquiries about the region’s situation, he assured that overall peace prevails on all fronts. “However, persistent efforts continue to misguide the youth through social media. The number of terrorists remains minimal,” he noted.
