Vibodh Gupta Releases Poster Highlighting Modi Govt’s OBC Welfare Initiatives

Jammu, 02 March:Vibodh Gupta, General Secretary of the Jammu and Kashmir BJP, and former MLC, joined forces with OBC Morcha National Secretary Rashpal Verma, Morcha J&K President Sunil Prajapati, Vice President Neelam Virdi, Morcha General Secretary Raj Kumar Tarkhan, and other office bearers to release a poster highlighting various welfare schemes for the OBC community initiated by the Modi government.Addressing the gathering, Vibodh Gupta emphasized the historical discrimination and humiliation faced by the OBCs in Jammu and Kashmir under previous governments. He pointed out that while reservation for OBCs had been granted across the country, it was denied in J&K until the Modi government took proactive measures.Gupta highlighted the establishment of a commission by the union government to address the issues, problems, and demands of the OBC community. Subsequently, a bill was introduced and passed in Parliament, paving the way for political reservation for OBCs in panchayats and urban local bodies in J&K.According to Gupta, the Modi government has delivered justice to the OBCs, putting an end to their days of misery. He emphasized the BJP and PM Modi’s commitment to the principle of justice for all without any appeasement.Rashpal Verma, National Secretary of OBC Morcha, lauded the commendable efforts of the Modi government in uplifting the OBC community. He urged the OBCs to stand with the BJP, extend support, and contribute to the victory in upcoming elections.Sunil Prajapati expressed optimism that the OBC community in Jammu and Kashmir would now benefit from various welfare schemes, leading to social, economic, and political upliftment. He announced upcoming programs such as ‘Samajik Sammelan’ and ‘Yuva Samvad’ in the UT.The poster release program was conducted by Morcha State Secretary Shamsher Prajapati, marking an effort to create awareness about the welfare initiatives aimed at the OBC community by the Modi government.
