Danish Mirza Kulgam, December 15, 2023— The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) in Kulgam district is making significant strides, reaching urban areas with an Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) campaign held in 13 wards of the Municipal Council, Kulgam.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, actively participated in the VBSY event at Bungam Kulgam, where he administered the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Pledge among participants. The event saw the presence of ACR Mir Imtiyaz-ul-Aziz, ACD Mohammad Imran, EO Mohammad Imran, and other officers and officials from various line departments.
The program witnessed overwhelming public participation, with stalls set up by different departments to raise awareness about their schemes and programs. On-spot registration counters were also established, facilitating direct engagement with the community.
During the event, video messages from the Hon’ble Prime Minister and other promotional videos were screened on an IEC van, enhancing the reach and impact of the campaign.
Addressing the gathering, DC Kulgam commended the successful organization of the yatra, expressing gratitude to the proactive participation and overwhelming response from the people. He emphasized that the Yatra’s focus is to connect with the people, create awareness, and ensure the benefits of welfare schemes reach the intended beneficiaries.
Adding a cultural touch to the event, students presented vibrant cultural programs and theme-based skits, contributing to the overall vibrancy of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Kulgam.
