The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a robust initiative spearheaded by Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, continues to make significant strides in Ramban District. On its fifth day, the Yatra extended its outreach to eight Panchayats in the Khari and Ramsoo blocks, receiving an enthusiastic response from the local population.

The Yatra, aimed at reaching the unreached and ensuring comprehensive coverage of Centrally Sponsored Schemes, witnessed vibrant participation from stakeholders in Panchats including Mohu Lower, Mangith, Bhordar-A, Neel- D, Neel- B, Neel- C, Bhordar- B, and Neel- A.

Supervised by SDM Ramsu Ghanishyam Basotra, Tehsildar Khari Amit Upadhyaya, BDO Ramsoo Dinesh Singh, and other officials, the Yatra focused on raising awareness about various Government schemes such as the Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, and more. The initiative aimed to inform the public about the process to avail benefits and enhance the reach of these transformative schemes.

Under the “Meri Kahaani, Meri Zubaani” initiative, beneficiaries shared their experiences, expressing gratitude for the seamless delivery of services. A recorded message from the Prime Minister of India emphasized the significance of the campaign, resonating well with the local population.

Officers and officials actively engaged with the community, registering them under various schemes to ensure the unreached population is covered under essential Government welfare initiatives. The Yatra serves as a platform to bridge the gap between the people and transformative schemes, fostering a spirit of development and progress.

The participation of block-level officers, officials from line departments, PRIs, students, and the local community in large numbers underscores the collective effort to bring about positive change through the Viksit Bharat Yatra. As the Yatra gains momentum, it is expected to leave a lasting impact on the welfare and development landscape of Ramban District.
