In a unfortunate incident in Mandi area of Poonch district, at least seven wedding guests, known as ‘Baratis,’ sustained injuries when the Bolero vehicle they were traveling in plunged into a river at Saujiyan Higher Secondary School. The incident occurred with the Bolero bearing registration number JK12C 8618.
The injured individuals have been identified as follows:
- Mohammad Lateef (52), son of Ghulam Mohammad
- Mohammad Azeem (42), son of Mohammad Hussain
- Mohammad Afzal, daughter of Mohammad Din
- Mohammad Qayoom (25), daughter of Mohammad Afzal
- Gul Khan (52), son of Bashir Ahmad
- Mohammad Ayoub (47) son of Munir Hussain
- Sajjad Ahmed (22), son of Farooq Ahmad
All injured residents of Brari Saujiyan have been swiftly transported to SDH Mandi for immediate medical attention. The local authorities are responding to the situation, and further details may emerge as the investigation unfolds.
