Hajin: The Awareness programme for educated youth was held at Degree college Hajin on Thursday to attract the youth towards agripreneurship.
The programme was organised by Department of Agriculture in the conference hall GDC Hajin .
The programme was aimed at educating the rural youth to come forward and adopt agriculture as a full time/part-time profession for remunerative returns.
The participants were motivated by experts to become job providers instead of job seekers by adopting any project under Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP).
Awareness regarding Kisan sathi and Daksh Kisan was also provided to the participants.
Participants were provided with lot of information regarding the government schemes and their benefits.
AEO HajinJavid Ahmad ,AEO Sumbal Rahila Basharat ,JAEO Hajin Mir Hassan ,Fayaz Ahmad JAEO , Parvaiz Ahmad from department of Horticulture and other officials of the departments were besides a large number of students were present.
