First Hindu Temple in UAE to be Inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi.

BuzzbytesNew Delhi, Feb 6: Mahant Swami Maharaj, the spiritual leader of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, arrived in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday to preside over the grand inauguration of the first Hindu temple in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The spiritual leader was welcomed as a state guest by UAE Minister of Tolerance, Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahyan, who expressed gratitude for his presence, stating, “Welcome to the UAE. Our nation is blessed with your presence. We are touched by your kindness and we feel your prayers.”

The historic event will be marked by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s inauguration of the temple on February 14, following the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

As Mahant Swami Maharaj arrived in Abu Dhabi, he was greeted by a large number of Swaminarayan Sanstha members and devotees, reflecting the significance of the occasion for the Hindu community in the Gulf nation.

The inauguration of the Hindu temple signifies the UAE’s commitment to religious diversity and tolerance, exemplified by the warm welcome extended to Mahant Swami Maharaj by the UAE Minister of Tolerance.
