Buzzbytes, Srinagar, February 07:The General Manager of Srinagar has emphasized the need for 550 buses to address the city’s transport demands adequately. He expressed optimism about Prime Minister’s interest in procuring these buses, indicating potential improvements in the city’s public transport system in the coming years.Under the Smart City Project, Srinagar has already introduced 75 e-buses, with an additional 25 buses expected to be added in the upcoming week. These initiatives aim to alleviate transport challenges faced by the city’s residents, particularly during the winter months.The existing buses have already made a significant impact on easing commuting woes for residents. With further expansion of the bus fleet, Srinagar anticipates enhanced accessibility and convenience for its citizens, marking a positive step towards addressing transport issues in the region.
