Top Officials Convene to Strengthen Security Grid for District Srinagar.

In a strategic move to enhance and coordinate the security apparatus in District Srinagar, ADGP Law and Order, Shri Vijay Kumar-IPS, led a joint meeting of Police and CRPF at the Police Control Room Srinagar. The meeting, attended by high-ranking officials including IG CRPF Ajay Kumar Yadav, IGP Kashmir V.K Birdi, DDIB, DIG CKR, DIG CRPF North & DIG CRPF South, SSP Srinagar, SSP PCR Kashmir, all Nodal COs of CRPF, SP Cargo Srinagar, and Zonal SPs, focused on fortifying the security framework of the region.
During the session, an elaborate security plan for Srinagar district was meticulously discussed, outlining the new roles for both CRPF and Police. Field officers actively participated, offering valuable suggestions to address shortcomings and streamline operations at the grassroots level, ensuring a robust and comprehensive Counter-Terrorism (CT) grid. ADGP L&O, IG CRPF, and IGP Kashmir provided their insights, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the security strategy.
