Advisor RR Bhatnagar Addresses Inaugural J&K Orthodontic Symposium in Jammu

Jammu, Nov 25: In a momentous event, Advisor to the Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, delivered an address at the inaugural J&K Orthodontic Symposium held at Radisson Blu in Jammu on November 26.

The symposium was a collaborative effort between the Indian Orthodontic Society, Jammu Orthodontic Study Group, and Indira Gandhi Dental College Jammu.

During his speech, Advisor Bhatnagar emphasized the UT administration’s commitment to prioritizing the healthcare sector in Jammu and Kashmir. He highlighted the significant progress made in recent years, citing the establishment of world-class infrastructure including seven new medical colleges, two AIIMS facilities, State Cancer institutes, and various advanced healthcare facilities. These initiatives aim to offer state-of-the-art medical services to the public.

Recognizing the importance of the symposium, Advisor Bhatnagar underscored its role as a platform for orthodontists and healthcare professionals to explore the latest advancements and best practices in orthodontics. He emphasized the pivotal role of orthodontics in improving oral health and its broader impact on an individual’s overall well-being.

Furthermore, Advisor Bhatnagar urged participants to stay updated with the latest advancements in dental sciences to ensure the delivery of high-quality dental services.

As part of the symposium’s activities, the Advisor released the Souvenir of J&K Orthodontic Society and inaugurated the exhibition featuring dental equipment and related medicines.
