BuzzBytes Srinagar, March 6, 2024In a resolute address at the Apni Party headquarters in Srinagar, President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari asserted that Jammu and Kashmir’s destiny as a part of India was sealed in 1947. Welcoming new members from Srinagar’s Zadibal constituency, Bukhari emphasized the historical choice made by leaders at that time and declared, “J&K was destined to be a part and parcel of the country, and it will remain so forever.”The event, organized by former mayor Junaid Azim Mattu, saw the induction of notable figures, including Hakim Shoaib Sajad, Tabish Pathan, and Hakim Burhan, into the Apni Party. The President, alongside other party leaders, extended a warm welcome to the new entrants.Addressing the gathering, Bukhari reflected on the tumultuous period post-August 2019, emphasizing the Apni Party’s role in providing stability and protecting the rights of the people. He took a swipe at traditional political parties, accusing them of past emotional sloganeering and commending the Apni Party for its consistent stance.Junaid Azim Mattu assured the new members of ample opportunities to serve the people in their respective areas, underscoring the party’s commitment to the overall well-being of the masses in Jammu and Kashmir. The event was attended by prominent party leaders, including General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir, Provincial President Mohammad Ashraf Mir, and Chief Spokesperson Muntazir Mohiuddin, among others. The gathering showcased the unity and determination of the Apni Party in addressing the region’s challenges and working towards a prosperous future.
