Artistic Brilliance Shines at Naat and Painting Competition in Gundjahangir, Bandipora

Bandipora, November 22:
In a celebration of talent and creativity, Parvaaz International Trust, in collaboration with Candles Garden Educational Institute Gundjahangir, organized a Naat and painting competition at Gandjahangir village in the Hajin area of Bandipora district. Dr. Towseef Ahmad Bhat graced the event as the chief guest, joined by National Artist Miss Siaqa Rasheed as the guest of honour. Notable figures like prominent social activist Syed Aijaz Kashani and renowned environmental activist Amjid Rizvi added a special touch as special guests.

The judging panel for the Naat competition comprised Valley’s renowned Naat khawans Yawar Altaf and Yawar Ali, while the Painting competition had National Artist Saiqa Raheed as the judge. Students from various classes of Candles Garden Educational Institute showcased their talents, mesmerizing the audience with their soothing voices and artistic expressions. The best-performing students were honored with awards and appreciation certificates during the ceremony.

Dr. Towseef Bhat, speaking on the sidelines of the event, commended the participants for their enthusiastic involvement, emphasizing the positive impact such programs have on the social and mental development of students. National calligrapher Saiqa Raheed shared her experiences and observations regarding the techniques employed by some participants in their artwork, adding an insightful dimension to the event.

Prominent social activist Syed Ajaz Kashani highlighted the importance of moral values in education, stating that instilling moral and religious education among students helps them lead pious and civilized lives in society. Renowned environmental activist Amjid Rezvi praised the students for their brilliant performances, foreseeing their talent as a representation of the state at the national level.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Principal of Candles Garden Education Institute, Mr. Mukhtar Ahmad, who acknowledged the efforts of Parvaaz International Trust’s chairman Hussain Zalpuri. Journalist Aadil Abdullah received a trophy and appreciation certificate in recognition of his contributions to the occasion. The artistic brilliance displayed by the students and the support from various personalities made the Naat and Painting competition a memorable and enriching experience for all involved.
