Raja Javiad Baramulla, January 01: In preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024, the District Election Office Baramulla organized an awareness session on Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) systems. Led by Master Trainers, the session at Degree College Baramulla targeted government employees and invited local citizens to participate actively.
Peerzada Mumtaz Ahmad, Election Registration Officer, urged employees to attend training sessions for familiarity with EVMs and VVPATs, ensuring a smooth electoral process. These awareness sessions, covering various assembly constituencies, serve as essential preparation for Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
