B L Santhosh, National General Secretary (Org.), BJP, along with Tarun Chugh, National General Secretary & Prabhari J&K BJP, Ravinder Raina, President J&K BJP, Dr. Jitendra Singh, MoS PMO, Dr. Narinder Singh, National Secretary BJP, Ashish Sood, Seh-Prabhari, J&K BJP, Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP Lok Sabha, Er. Ghulam Ali Khatana, MP Rajya Sabha, and Vibodh Gupta, General Secretary, J&K BJP, addressed a series of meetings at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
B L Santhosh, while addressing the meetings, minutely discussed and reviewed the ongoing “Booth Jana Samwad Abhiyaan” programme in Jammu & Kashmir. He said that this programme has enabled the party to cement its relationship with the common masses. The programme has opened a 2-way door, where party leaders convey the party’s policies and the achievements of the Modi government to the public, and simultaneously, the campaign is making the party aware of the issues faced by the common masses at the local level on booth and Panchayat levels.
Santhosh emphasized that the Modi government has dedicated itself to the betterment of the common people, and it is now the responsibility of the party cadre to carry the Modi government’s report card of public welfare and development works to the people.
Tarun Chugh appreciated the J&K BJP cadre for their dedicated efforts and acknowledged the emergence of a new force of youth leaders in the party. He urged party leaders to be vocal about the party’s achievements in removing Articles 370 and 35 (A), which had hindered J&K’s growth for seven decades. He also emphasized the need to ensure the delivery of public welfare schemes to the needy through “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.”
Ravinder Raina elaborated on the progress of ongoing organizational programmes in J&K. He shared that the “Booth Jana Samvad Abhiyaan” programme in Jammu & Kashmir, started on the auspicious day of ‘Vijay Dashmi,’ has successfully conducted 900 programmes so far. He highlighted the massive turnouts at the booth levels, testifying to the acceptance of Modi government’s policies in public. Raina stated that the J&K BJP is actively engaged in the party’s programmes, which will carry momentum until the 2024 elections and beyond.
Ashok Koul provided detailed insights into the forthcoming organizational party programmes. He encouraged party leaders to carry out their organizational activities more vigorously and reach every nook and corner of the UT with the achievements of PM Narendra Modi over the last nine and a half years.
District Presidents, District Prabharis, Media & Social Media Department Incharges, Morcha Presidents, and youth leaders shared their experiences and reporting of the ongoing “Booth Jana Samwad Abhiyaan” programmes.
Senior J&K BJP leaders Dr. Nirmal Singh, Shamsher Singh Manhas, Ashok Koul, Kavinder Gupta, Sat Sharma, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, Sham Lal Sharma, Sham Choudhary, Yudhvir Sethi, Pawan Khajuria, Devinder Singh Rana, Surjit Singh Salathia, Priya Sethi, Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, and others participated in the meeting.
