Entrepreneurship Development Programme Concludes in Ganderbal, Empowering Youth for Business Ventures

Ganderbal, February 14, 2024:* The National Institute of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD), under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India, in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Bank, successfully concluded a three-week entrepreneurship development programme in Ganderbal, Jammu & Kashmir.The initiative, aimed at fostering a culture of entrepreneurship, was part of the Corporate Social Responsibility of J&K Bank. The spokesperson for the bank highlighted the institution’s commitment to supporting youth in the UTs of J&K and Ladakh, providing them with insights into business, market dynamics, and customer relationships to make informed decisions in pursuing their entrepreneurial dreams.The training program, conducted by NIESBUD in collaboration with J&K Bank, focused on imparting life skills, employability, and entrepreneurship awareness to the youth. Covering areas such as e-commerce, market linkages, government schemes, entrepreneurship development, and product value additions, the three-week Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) aimed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge.Expressing gratitude, Dr. Aijaz Mir from NIESBUD thanked J&K Bank officials and participants for their contributions to the program’s success.
