Ruheena Shahzad, BJP Vice President of District Ganderbal, expressed profound grief and sorrow over the tragic loss of four tourists in an accident at Zojila Pass on the Srinagar-Leh highway. The incident occurred in the afternoon when an SUV, carrying at least seven tourists, plunged into a gorge at Yadav Morh near Zojila Pass. The victims, all from Kerala, faced fatal consequences, while two others, including the driver, sustained critical injuries.

In her statement, Ruheena Shahzad conveyed her heartfelt condolences to the families of the four tourists who lost their lives in this unfortunate mishap. She expressed deep sorrow and said, “I am deeply saddened to learn about the fatal accident at Zojila Pass. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the four tourists who lost their lives in this tragic mishap. May Almighty grant them the much-needed strength to navigate through this profound tragedy.”

Ruheena Shahzad also extended prayers for the swift recovery of the two individuals, including the driver of the ill-fated vehicle, who sustained serious injuries. The district mourns the loss, and the BJP leader’s words reflect a shared sense of sorrow and sympathy for the affected families.
