BJP General Secretary (Organisation) for J&K, Ashok Koul, and BJP National Executive Member & Chairperson of JK Waqf Board, Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, addressed public conventions at Kupwara and Tangmarg, asserting the party’s role as the alternative to dynastic politics in J&K.
In Kupwara, a Worker’s Convention organized by the newly appointed District President Javed Qureshi drew the participation of hundreds of party leaders and activists. Ashok Koul emphasized the growing popularity of BJP, considering it the replacement for dynastic political parties. Many youth joined the BJP during the convention.
Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi expressed gratitude to the people for trusting the BJP. She highlighted the transformative impact of BJP’s public-friendly nationalistic programs, asserting that J&K has witnessed freedom from separatism and exploitation politics in the past four years. Dr. Andrabi credited Modi’s leadership for ensuring a peaceful Kashmir with unprecedented infrastructural development, tourism growth, and innovation sectors.
Later in Tangmarg, Andrabi received a warm welcome from the Tourist Guides Association of Gulmarg & Tangmarg. The association appreciated BJP’s support, particularly Dr. Andrabi’s swift resolution of their livelihood issues. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Andrabi emphasized BJP’s commitment to fulfilling assurances for the public’s benefit.
Ashok Koul welcomed new members into the party, highlighting BJP’s inclusiveness and progress. Party leaders Sajid Yousuf Shah, Er Sahil Bashir, and Arshad Bhat also participated in the events. The conventions showcased the party’s momentum in Kashmir and its dedication to fulfilling promises for the region’s development.
